Introducing Chalet Raoul

Built in 2022, Chalet Raoul is a ski-in chalet located in Tignes 1800 (Les Boisses), one of the Tignes villages that connects up this massive ski area. The piste passes right by the chalet and 150m away is the Boisses gondola that takes you up to 2,200m to join the new Aiguille Rouge chairlift.

Chalet Raoul is set back in a quiet residential area and has huge windows to take in the breathtaking views. A bus stop just 50m away can also whisk you to Tignes Le Lac in less than 10 minutes.

Chalet Raoul sleeps up to 8 guests in 4 twin/double bedrooms. This is a high-quality chalet in a peaceful location with stunning views of the mountains and with ski-in access, only 100m from the red Colchique piste.

There is a beautiful open plan kitchen/living/dining room on the 2nd floor with a stove, and a balcony with fabulous views. Chalet Raoul is ideal for small groups or two families that wish to holiday together.

When you buy from us, the whole holiday package is included; flights, transfers and catered chalet accommodation. Room Information

The Ski Area

From Chalet Raoul, you can walk up the path to the piste in order to ski down to the bubble lift about 150m away. There is a bus stop, 50m from the chalet where you can get ski buses up to Le Lac, Lavachet and Val Claret.

To return, you can ski right back to Chalet Raoul’s door!

The Resort

Chalet Raoul is situated in Tignes Les Boisses (a.k.a Tignes 1800). There are a small number of restaurants and shops all a short walk away from Chalet Raoul in Les Boisses.

There is a leisure centre up in Tignes Le Lac (free access with a 6 day lift pass), a luge and many other attractions. To get there, there is a bus service that runs regularly throughout the daytime.

Ski/board hire via Ski Vertigo

Prebook your ski/board hire through us before you travel and receive access to our preferential rates. We have partnered with Skiset, the shop that is closest to the central lifts and ski school meeting point, making swaps easier. You will receive a voucher which can be presented at the shop in return for your equipment.

Lift passes via Ski Vertigo

Save hassle in resort and prebook your lift passes through Ski Vertigo for ease and convenience. Call our sales team today on 01252 365490 to prebook them. They will be delivered to your chalet the evening you arrive in resort for your ease and convenience.

Flights

Flights are with British Airways on Ski Vertigo’s own flight from London Heathrow to Lyon.

Outbound: BA8606 at 0730 from LHR Terminal 5 with arrival at 1010 into LYS Terminal 1

Inbound: BA8607 at 1100 from LYS Terminal 1 with arrival at 1140 into LHR Terminal 5

Transfers

Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to Val d’Isere. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.

In Resort

On arrival in resort, all guests will need to disembark at the central bus station where your bags will be transferred by us to your chalet whilst you make your way on foot the short distance to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse.

  My wife and I had our first chalet experience with ski vertigo in Valdisere. We stayed in chalet Ontario and after a huge delay getting to the chalet we were greeted by our two hosts for a late night supper.

I can’t speak highly enough of the chalet or the hosts, the food was plentiful and always delicious. Breakfast was a variety of cooked breakfasts, eggs and pastries. Evening meal was always a three course affair and the wine was also delicious with several options available.

Coming off the hill to a different cake baked fresh each day was a delight and the hot tub offered welcome relief.

The hosts also offered great advice on where to go and what was good to ski each day depending on the conditions. They also helped plan routes for the less confident skiers in the group ensuring they could experience the entire mountain while being limited by their ability.

  Wow wow wow! The best experience. Everything about our trip was faultless. I would 100% recommend Ski Vertigo and will most definitely be using their services again.

Our chalet hosts, Becky and Steve, were incredible - attentive, friendly and talented. The food was incredible and their service was impeccable. Thank you both for making our trip so special.

  Chalet Pegase, Val Thorens Jan 2024. Myself and our group of 5 had a blast. Chalet was perfect for us. It’s in an ideal situation at the top of town and close to all amenities. And yes it really is doorstep skiing.
Chalet hosts were great and really looked after us. Food was nice and there was no shortage of wine with the meal if you wanted it. Rooms were fine, comfortable with en-suite facilities.
I have been to plusher places in my many years of skiing but have had to pay an awful lot more for them.
This chalet finds a nice balance of value / quality that really suited ourselves. Well done Ski Vertigo
