All of our resorts are a festive and fun place to see in the New Year, but Tignes is renowned for throwing the biggest and best NYE party in the Alps. The atmosphere in the mountains is fabulous as everyone comes together to enjoy time on and off the slopes.
Tignes often transforms into an open-air nightclub at New Year, playing host to some of the world’s biggest DJs. New Year’s Eve in Tignes: What to Expect
New Year’s Eve in Tignes builds all day. The lifts run as normal, so you can ski the Grande Motte in the morning and be back for afternoon tea as the village lights come on. After your hosts serve the gala dinner, head out for the midnight countdown and fireworks, with torchlit descents winding down the pistes and the bars of Val Claret and Le Lac carrying the party well into the small hours. On the first of January the lifts open again, and the first run of the year is usually a quiet one.
