At Ski Vertigo, we create and operate all our holidays ourselves. We have crafted a package for skiers and snowboarders, using our own flights and operate hand-picked chalets which are staffed with our own people, trained to the highest standards.

As a package ski operator, we make your life easy by offering a one-stop shop for buying your ski chalet holiday. When you buy from us, the whole holiday package is included; flights, transfers and catered chalet accommodation. And we even can add-on great deals on ski extras; lift passes, ski and snowboard hire and tuition.

Room Information

The Ski Area

Val d’Isère needs little in the way of introduction; it has one of the best snow records in France and an extensive ski area with over 300kms of pistes, served by 96 lifts. It links to neighbouring Tignes to offer some of the highest skiing in Europe.

Chalet Alberta is just a short walk to the Olympique and Solaise ski lifts located in the centre of Val d’Isère.

The Resort

Chalet Alberta is situated just a short walk from the atmospheric and pretty village centre and ski lifts. The partly pedestrianised resort centre is lively in the evenings offering a huge choice of aprés ski options from a quiet drink to partying until 4am if you’ve the energy!

Ski/board hire via Ski Vertigo

Prebook your ski/board hire through us before you travel and receive access to our preferential rates. We have partnered with Skiset, the shop that is closest to the central lifts and ski school meeting point, making swaps easier. You will receive a voucher which can be presented at the shop in return for your equipment.

Lift Passes via Ski Vertigo

Save hassle in resort and prebook your lift passes through Ski Vertigo for ease and convenience. Call our sales team today on 01252 365490 to prebook them. They will be delivered to your chalet the evening you arrive in resort for your ease and convenience.

Flights

Flights are with British Airways on Ski Vertigo’s own flight from London Heathrow to Lyon.

Outbound: BA8606 at 0730 from LHR Terminal 5 with arrival at 1010 into LYS Terminal 1

Inbound: BA8607 at 1100 from LYS Terminal 1 with arrival at 1140 into LHR Terminal 5

Transfers

Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to Val d’Isere. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.

In Resort

On arrival in resort, all guests will need to disembark at the central bus station where your bags will be transferred by us to your chalet whilst you make your way on foot the short distance to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse.

“This is our second trip to Val d’Isere this season with Ski Vertigo. As before we were very well looked after by all the team in resort who made our stay very comfortable. Not all of our party was skiing. The information from the resort staff about the pool/spa facilities was most welcome. The chalet really did feel like a home from home, and was a perfect way to relax and recharge the batteries.”
