Introducing Chalet Orion
Chalet Orion is offered self-catered for the 2026/27 season. You keep the same ski-in, ski-out location with flights and transfers included, and a fully equipped kitchen and dining area to cook on your own schedule.
Security deposit: Our reservations team will collect a £500 security deposit when your holiday balance is due.
Chalet Orion is our smallest chalet in Val Thorens and indeed the whole of the Belleville valley. Val Thorens chalets are rarely stand-alone, and even less so are they are ski-in, ski-out.
If it’s a good location you’re after, our Val Thorens Chalets; Chalet Pégase, Chalet Véga and Chalet Orion are all housed in Chalet Alrock, situated on piste, next to the brand new Sports Centre, just below the central Place du Caron. Each is run separately.
Chalet Orion gives you direct access to the piste so you just need to clip in, and off you go, either down to the bottom of the magic carpets (for beginners) or down to Les Menuires or to the various chairlifts and gondolas that open up access to all of the Three Valleys and the glacier
Chalet Orion is on just one floor, the lower ground floor of Chalet Alrock. The three bedrooms are situated in a corridor off the lounge, each with their own shower room and wc.
At Ski Vertigo, we create and operate all our holidays ourselves. We have crafted a package for skiers and snowboarders including flights and operate hand-picked chalets.
As a package ski operator, we make your life easy by offering a one-stop shop for buying your ski chalet holiday. When you buy from us, the whole holiday package is included; flights, transfers and chalet accommodation. And we even can add-on great deals on ski extras; lift passes, ski and snowboard hire and tuition.

Resort Info
The Val Thorens Ski Area
Val Thorens needs no introduction; at 2,300m altitude with glacier skiing over 3,000m, you are guaranteed to have snow throughout the winter. The Belleville valley has fabulous skiing in itself from Val Thorens, through Les Menuires and down to St Martin de Belleville, but the massive Three Valleys has over 600kms of pistes altogether.
The Resort
Chalet Pégase is situated on the piste near the village centre and just down from Place du Caron. The resort centre offers a wide selection shops, bars, restaurants and clubs giving a large selection of après-ski activities from a quiet beer to taking the zip wire across the valley!

Flights
Flights are with British Airways from Heathrow and Jet2 from Gatwick and Manchester, on Ski Vertigo charters to Lyon.
Heathrow
Outbound: BA8606 at 0730 from LHR Terminal 5 with arrival at 1010 into LYS Terminal 1
Inbound: BA8607 at 1100 from LYS Terminal 1 with arrival at 1140 into LHR Terminal 5
Gatwick
Outbound: BA8624 at 0620 from LGW South Terminal with arrival at 0900 into LYS Terminal 1
Inbound: BA8625 at 1000 from LYS Terminal 1 with arrival at 1040 into LGW South Terminal

Transfers to Val Thorens
Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to Reberty 2000 and Val Thorens in the Belleville valley. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.
In Resort
On arrival in resort, all guests may need to disembark at the central bus station where your bags will be transferred by us to your chalet whilst you make your way on foot the short distance to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse
