Our range of ski chalets are located across the French Alps in four stunning ski resorts, including  Tignes, Reberty, Val d’Isere, and Val Thorens. What's included in Catered Ski Chalet

You can expect some wonderful cuisine in our catered ski chalets, where you’ll never have to lift a finger. Save yourself the hassle and cost of having to cook or organise restaurant bookings, and enjoy a delicious three course evening meal prepared for you after a long day on the slopes. 

 

Our chalet menus have been designed and curated with meticulous detail by our Michelin-trained Executive Chef. We believe that great food can transform a holiday, so expect some hearty and tasty food throughout your week with us.

Chalet Catered Ski Holidays

Our catered chalets are equipped with excellent facilities from cosy living areas to spacious dining areas. You will get to enjoy a glass of wine by the fire with your family and friends while your hosts work behind the scenes to prepare a delectable feast.Enjoy impeccable service with six days of breakfast, dinners, canapés and aperitifs. For breakfast you can expect fresh French bread, pastries, fruit, cereals and even cooked options. Each day on your return from the slopes, you can expect a different cake each day with tea and coffee. For dinner, enjoy a three course dinner to refuel after a long day on the slopes.Ski Vertigo’s catered ski chalets offer a range of evening meals from beef bourguignon to grilled cod. If you have a specific request, ski trip favourites or dietary requirements, just let our sales team know before you travel and the resort team will endeavour to cater for all your needs.

There are so many perks to booking a catered ski chalet, so why not treat yourself to a  ski holiday without the hassle. We’ll even help you organise lift passes and rentals, or even ski carriage if you would prefer to bring your own ski equipment with you. Our experienced sales team are on hand to make the whole holiday, from the first quote to the flight home as smooth sailing as possible!

Dietary Requirements: We will go above and beyond to tailor any dietary requirements or special requests you may have. As we are catering at high-altitude mountain locations during winter, local availability of specialist foods can be limited. 

 

If you have a favourite snack or any special dietary requirements, please reach out to our expert sales team in advance so that we can attempt to source each item before your arrival and work to make adaptations to the menus.

Frequently asked questions about catered ski chalets
How do catered ski chalet holidays work?

A catered chalet is accommodation that comes with a host (or two) who prepares all your meals, completes housekeeping and looks after guests. There are few ski tour operators who offer catered chalet holidays now. We manage all our chalets season after season. Ski Vertigo offers breakfast, afternoon tea (cake and tea) and dinner with wine, 6 days a week. Our ski chalet staff are fully training and our chalets are oversee by our executive chef. 

Yes. Mainly groups and families book our chalets exclusively. Our ski chalets range in size from 6 people to 20. Some smaller groups like sharing with other groups which was initially the idea of a ski chalet. But to keep it personal, most of our bookings have the whole chalet to themselves for their ski holiday. 

Good question! Ski Vertigo offers a range of quality French wine. We offer the choice of two red wines, two wine wines and a rose. We also offer sparkling wine with canapés. Wine and sparkling wine is served six nights a week. 

Our chalet menus have been carefully designed by our Executive Chef to serve our guests with imaginative, stylishly-presented, great-tasting cuisine. Our ingredients are sourced locally whenever possible and all our chefs have a passion for what they create.

Our catered ski chalet service includes 6 days of breakfasts, 6 days of afternoon tea and cakes, 6 evenings of 3-course meals including aperitif, canapés plus wine and coffee.

Vegetarian meals can be served. This must be reserved at the time of booking and not later than four weeks before departure. Other special diets including gluten, dairy, and wheat can be provided. This must be confirmed to us at the time of booking at a charge of £49 per person. 
All dietary requirements or allergies must be confirmed at the time of booking or in writing not later than four weeks before departure. Please see our terms or talk to our team for more information.

Due to the nature of catered ski chalets we can not guarantee a free from environment, that includes but is not limited to nuts, gluten, soya… We have a very strict training procedure for staff and an allergy matrix that helps us to manage allergies in our chalets. But we can never be 100% free from. 

Please inform us when you book if you have an allergy. 

Yes. Chalet hosts normally have Wednesday off each week. On this night guests go out for dinner. We’ll provide information on where to eat out, normally you need to book in advance. 

Our Ski Vertigo Chalets don’t have childcare options, however if you are looking for chalets with childcare offered, have a look at our sister company Ski Famille to have the same holiday but with childcare options as well!
