We are really excited to offer Chalet Blackcomb, a beautiful high-quality chalet with superb living accommodation and all the traditional alpine charm you would expect to find in a first class resort like Val d’Isère. With exposed beams, stunning balcony views, cosy open fire, hot tub – the Chalet Blackcomb has it all! What’s more, Chalet Blackcomb is close to the heart of the action with the Olympique and Solaise lifts just a short walk away, and the buzzing centre offering an array of shops and restaurants, and of course the infamous bars.
There are 4 well-appointed bedrooms all of which have modern ensuite facilities, USB charging points and safe. Free WiFi.
At Ski Vertigo, we create and operate all our holidays ourselves. We have crafted a package for skiers and snowboarders, using our own flights and operate hand-picked chalets which are staffed with our own people, trained to the highest standards.
As a package ski operator, we make your life easy by offering a one-stop shop for buying your ski chalet holiday. When you buy from us, the whole holiday package is included; flights, transfers and catered chalet accommodation. And we even can add-on great deals on ski extras; lift passes, ski and snowboard hire and tuition.

The Ski Area
Val d’Isère needs little in the way of introduction; it has one of the best snow records in France and an extensive ski area with over 300kms of pistes, served by 96 lifts. It links to neighbouring Tignes to offer some of the highest skiing in Europe.
Chalet Blackcomb is close to the heart of the action with the Olympique and Solaise lifts just a short walk away.
The Resort
Chalet Blackcomb is situated just a short walk from the atmospheric and pretty village centre and ski lifts. The partly pedestrianised resort centre is lively in the evenings offering a huge choice of aprés ski options from a quiet drink to partying until 4am if you’ve the energy!

Transfers
Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to Val d’Isere. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.
In Resort
On arrival in resort, all guests will need to disembark at the central bus station where your bags will be transferred by us to your chalet whilst you make your way on foot the short distance to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse.

“When we booked this chalet, it was still very new and there were limited reviews online so we weren’t too sure what to expect. The chalet blew us away! It was beautiful, but the thing that made our chalet perfect was the hosts and the chef. Our hosts were Maddie and Libby, they were both excellent! Nothing was too much trouble, the chalet was immaculate and the service they provided made our stay so comfortable! If we needed anything they were very quick to offer help and were generally just lovely girls to have around the chalet! We were most lucky to have Ella as our chef – she was absolutely fantastic! Each and every dish was absolutely delicious!! She paid attention to details and presented the food wonderfully. We couldn’t believe she made an entire Christmas dinner for us, trimmings and all! It was one of the most delicious Christmas dinners we’ve had and really made the day feel special!”
