What is a Ski Chalet Holiday?
Ski Chalet Holidays are the most popular type of ski holidays for British families and groups travelling from the UK. Normally a catered ski chalet holiday is a 7 night holiday with flights, transfers and food included. Ski Vertigo offers dinner on 6 nights and breakfast 6 mornings per week, with an afternoon tea with cake for 6 days.
Do you need to book the whole chalet?
No. But a lot of people do year on year. You can of course book on a room by room basis once you’ve decided on the chalet and resort.
How far in advance do people book chalet holidays?
For Ski Vertigo our average booking time is 160 days in advance, so almost 6 month in advance of the holiday date. Customers like to secure a specific chalet in a specific resort that works for their group.
What facilities does a ski chalet have?
All our ski chalets have en-suite bathrooms, branded toiletries and towels. Rooms are tidied and cleaned every day that chalet staff are working. The majority of chalets have a sauna and/or a hot tub and most have balconies. All chalets have ski boot rooms.
Are towels and linen provided in a ski holiday chalet?
Towels, bed linen, cot sheets and bedding are provided in all our ski chalets. Rooms are cleaned every day that chalet staff work. Towels are changed once during the week, if you wish.
Do ski chalets have Wi-Fi?
We have WI-FI in all our ski chalets. The WI-FI won’t support streaming or work video calls, however, it normally has a decent speed and will cover most parts of the chalets.
What type of food can you get in a catered ski chalets?
Our chalet menus have been carefully designed by our Executive Chef, providing a varied meals 6 nights a week. See the sample on our Chalet Catering Page.
I have dietary requirements. Can you cater for special diets and/or allergies in the ski holiday chalets?
We catered for all dietary requirements. Including vegetarian, vegan, celiac and gluten. We charge £49 each per person per dietary requirement. We would need to know 4 weeks prior to departure, or additional charges apply. Please contact us to discuss dietary requirements – 01252 365 490
