When can you ski in 2026/27?
Season opening, late November to mid December 2026. Val Thorens and Tignes are among the first French resorts to open each year thanks to their altitude and glacier skiing. Early December weeks are the season's quietest and best value.

January 2027. Cold, reliable snow and empty pistes. The connoisseur's month, and usually the lowest prices of the winter outside early December.
February half term 2027. The busiest week of the season. Our February half term page has dates and remaining chalet space.
March and April 2027. Longer days and spring snow. Our high resorts keep full ski areas open into late April, when many lower resorts have already closed.

Booking early for 2026/27: your questions answered
When does the 2026/27 ski season start?
Our first chalet weeks run from mid December 2026, with resorts such as Val Thorens and Tignes opening their lifts from late November. The season runs through to late April 2027 in our high-altitude resorts.
When is the best time to book a 2026/27 ski holiday?
As early as possible for school-holiday weeks; Christmas, New Year and February half term regularly sell out six months or more in advance. For non-holiday weeks, booking by early autumn still gives you full choice of chalets and flight times.
How much can I save by booking early?
Early bird prices save up to £75 per person against our standard prices, and booking with us saves up to 25% on ski hire arranged through our resort partners.
How much deposit do I need?
A deposit of £225 per person secures your booking, with the balance not due until closer to departure. Call us on 01252 365490 and we will confirm the payment dates for your chosen week.
What if my plans change?
Your booking is ABTOT and ATOL protected. If you need to move dates or resorts, talk to us as early as possible; outside peak weeks we can usually help.
