Brand new to the Ski Vertigo portfolio for December 2025, Chalet Grand Chardon offers private access to an outdoor pool, saunas and a squash court, just 200m from the piste in the centre of Plagne 1800.
Sleeping 12 guests, there are 3 twin bedrooms on the top floor, and 3 twin bedrooms on the lower floor, all of which are ensuite. The lower floor also offers a large open plan living are with a log burning stove and a large south facing balcony.
Chalet Grand Chardon is located just a couple of minutes walk to the Melezes lift and the ESF ski school meeting point. There is also a bus stop just outside the chalet where you can hop on and off a free shuttle bus that runs between Plagne 1800, Plagne Bellecote and Plagne Centre.

La Plagne is part of the vast Paradiski ski area in the French Alps, offering over 425 km of pistes. Plagne 1800 is a charming, chalet-style village nestled in the heart of the resort, providing easy lift access to the wider ski area. From Plagne 1800, skiers can quickly connect to the main La Plagne network via the Melezes chairlift, reaching higher altitude areas like Belle Plagne, Plagne Centre, and the summit of the Grand Rochette.
A standout feature of staying in La Plagne is the Vanoise Express, a double-decker cable car that links La Plagne with Les Arcs, creating one of the largest interconnected ski areas in the world. Prebook your ski/board hire through us before you travel and receive access to our preferential rates. We have partnered with Intersport, the shop that is closest to the central lifts and ski school meeting point, making swaps easier. You will receive a voucher which can be presented at the shop in return for your equipment.

Flights are with British Airways on a Ski Vertigo charter from Heathrow or Gatwick to Lyon.

Outbound: BA8606 at 0730 from LHR Terminal 5 with arrival at 1010 into LYS
Inbound: BA8607 at 1100 from LYS with arrival at 1140 into LHR Terminal 5
Gatwick
Outbound: BA8624 at 0620 from LGW South with arrival at 0900 into LYS
Inbound: BA8625 at 1000 from LYS with arrival at 1040 into LGW South
Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to La Plagne. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.
On arrival in resort, all guests will need to disembark outside the chalet where you will be met by your host and taken to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse.
