Chalet Orion is our smallest chalet in Val Thorens and indeed the whole of the Belleville valley. Val Thorens chalets are rarely stand-alone, and even less so are they are ski-in, ski-out.
If it’s a good location you’re after, our Val Thorens Chalets; Chalet Pégase, Chalet Véga and Chalet Orion are all housed in Chalet Alrock, situated on piste, next to the brand new Sports Centre, just below the central Place du Caron. Each is run and catered separately but share the bonus of the sauna on the ground floor.
Chalet Orion gives you direct access to the piste so you just need to clip in, and off you go, either down to the bottom of the magic carpets (for beginners) or down to Les Menuires or to the various chairlifts and gondolas that open up access to all of the Three Valleys and the glacier
Chalet Orion is on just one floor, the lower ground floor of Chalet Alrock. The three bedrooms are situated in a corridor off the lounge, each with their own shower room and wc.

Val Thorens needs no introduction; at 2,300m altitude with glacier skiing over 3,000m, you are guaranteed to have snow throughout the winter. The Belleville valley has fabulous skiing in itself from Val Thorens, through Les Menuires and down to St Martin de Belleville, but the massive Three Valleys has over 600kms of pistes altogether.
Chalet Pégase is situated on the piste near the village centre and just down from Place du Caron. The resort centre offers a wide selection shops, bars, restaurants and clubs giving a large selection of après-ski activities from a quiet beer to taking the zip wire across the valley!
Prebook your ski/board hire through us before you travel and receive access to our preferential rates. We have partnered with a shop that is closest to the central lifts and ski school meeting point, making swaps easier. You will receive a voucher which can be presented at the shop in return for your equipment.

Flights are with British Airways or Jet2 on a Ski Vertigo charter from Heathrow, Gatwick or Manchester to Lyon.

Coaches will be waiting outside the terminal in Lyon to transfer you directly to Reberty 2000 and Val Thorens in the Belleville valley. On the return, you will be transferred directly to Lyon by coach. Transfer time to/from resort is approx. 3 hours under normal conditions.
On arrival in resort, all guests may need to disembark at the central bus station where your bags will be transferred by us to your chalet whilst you make your way on foot the short distance to the chalet with our staff. On departure, the same happens in reverse
